Reader Description

Maybe you don't know it, but you could have house guests. If your house is warm and dry, you might have all kinds of insects and other small creatures living with you. Find out about these unwelcome visitors, and why they like living in your home.

On page 5 of the book, there is a poem called Bug Zoo. Choose a household pest from the book and write a poem about it. Think about how the bug moves, sounds, and what it looks like. Try to make every second and fourth line rhyme, like the poem in the book. Read the poem to your family.
