Chloe's dad hasn't got a job any more. He's supposed to be taking care of Chloe while her mum is working. But Chloe doesn't think he's very good at it and starts a list of all his mistakes.

Chloe changes her ideas about her dad after the accident at the lake. She realises that being a parent is a hard job, and there are lots of things to remember. Reread the book and find the places where Dad makes mistakes. For each mistake, write how Chloe could have helped her dad rather than criticising him.
