Hurricanes, blizzards, and tornadoes are all big storms. Once you've learnt something about storms and what they can do, you'll wonder if you're prepared for the next one that comes along.

Look at the Fujita Tornado Scale on page 7. Make your own scale, but instead of using the description for each step, use a picture of that shows the damage from the tornado. You could use the Internet to find photos. Show the pictures to your family. Do they match the descriptions in the book?
