Have you ever wondered what happens when a raindrop hits a puddle, or how a bird or beetle takes off? These things happen too quickly for us to see them, but Nic Bishop has a special camera that can capture these lightning-fast events.

Nic Bishop uses rapid flash photography to capture the movement of animals. Look at the photograph of the ladybird on the cover of the book. It is three photographs that have been made into one. Draw a combined picture of your own, using an animal such as a bird or a bat.
